There are questions that he wants answered first. Barbara plans to write letters to wealthy citizens.

            B. Teen Center – The Teen Center Anniversary Party is a good place to showcase the programs. There will be an indoor carnival-type open house. From 3 – 6 p.m., all ages will be welcome. From 6 – 9 p.m., only teens will be allowed in. There will be an admission fee. The Pasta Dinner went well. They raised about $800, and had a good crowd for a snowy night. Movie nights are working well. 15 boys participated in a program about healthy relationships. Participants are enjoying the cooking and scrap-booking. There were 62 visitors last Friday. The Teen Center will be open during school vacation.

            C. Underage Drinking/Enforcement Strategies – Laura suggested that the wording for the Juvenile Hearing Board include funding for the Task Force or Student Assistance.

            D. Tobacco Grant – Debbie volunteered to go to the tobacco workshop, which was a requirement of the grant. Laura will be out of the region on that day. Mr. Foley, North Kingstown High School Principal, approved getting the Stealth system for the bathrooms. Now we are waiting for the Department of Health’s approval, Laura said. Andrea took a photo of the cigar/candy display at Jamestown Mobil. She will give it to Barbara for the Town Council.
