Melrose Avenue School Improvement Team
The mission of the Melrose School is to prepare each child to become a resourceful, lifelong learner by inspiring his or her natural love of learning.
Our School Improvement Team (SIT) is comprised of administration, teachers, parents and a school board member. Our work is guided by many beliefs. We believe that parents and teachers are partners in our students' education. It is important to us to hold high academic expectations for all students. We review research-based methods of instruction for effective implementation of curriculum. We support a safe and nuturing enviroment where all students are treated with respect, kindness, and courtesy. For all of us, learning is a continous process.
