The possibility of an 8th Grade Trip to
Washington, DC was discussed because there had been a request made.
Would
this possible trip by Jamestown’s 8th grade, be planned by
individuals or private company? How
would it be handled if not planned by the school.
Information
that was provided at this point: Cost
would be about $360/ 8th grader for 3 days.
SIT members believed a
trip at the end of the year would be nice however, is it necessary to go to
Washington, DC? What are the reasons
for wanting this trip?
