Principal’s Comments:

        Difference between Strategic 

 

Joint meeting with Melrose and Lawn Ave SIT committee will be Nov. 4, the same night as the Nov. 4, High School Review committee’s presentation to the Jamestown School Committee.  The information will be made public at that time.  No vote will be taken at that time.

 

Afterschool Enrichment Flyer

Lawn School will be handed out on Friday, Oct. 15th.

Correction:  Rug hooking will be replace with Drawing by Jim Wilkens on Tuesdays, 2:40-3:30

 

Yearbook will be another group to meet.  Monday looks like a good night.

Lawn Ave Improvement Plan  

Three Goals with action plans following.

Strategic Plan is filled with wonderful ideas.

SIT will help teacher’s focus on the plan that is a plan and a partnership of sorts.

December 9th meeting, teachers will be presented with the Strategic Plan.

Would it be possible to have SIT go to Faculty meeting to make presentation rather than teachers go to SIT

November 8th is faculty meeting and Nov. 15 and December 6th and December 13. SIT will be keeping their joint meeting on Dec. 9 and will go to December 13 meeting to discuss. 

Robin Sweet and Bruce Englehard will present the Strategic plan to the teachers to peruse, read suggested actions to meet strategic plan and will be asked to make comments and new suggestions.

 

Give them the three pages of action steps.  Accountability to try the plan but it is not contractual.   Possibly suggest that these goals need to be worked on and the teachers are going to be asked to pick the goal you are most interested in.  Then make suggestions or modify those that are suggested.

Jamestown School was given our Classification as determined by the results of testing.
