PRESCHOOL LANGUAGE & MOVEMENT LESSON

By Miss Terry& Miss Sharon

This month's book is Gilberto and the Wind by Maria Hall Ets.  The hand play will be "Open the Door" ( see below).   Ask your child to tell you about the story. You might ask questions about the story. Questions might include "What did the wind do to a balloon? What did the wind do to the leaves? What did the wind do to the gate?" Go outside together. If the wind is blowing, talk about what you see it doing. If the wind is not blowing, ask your child to imagine how things might change if the wind began to blow. Thanks for your support and help.
