By Miss Terry and Miss Sharon

This month’s book will be THE NAPPING HOUSE by Audrey Wood and the hand play will be Thankful (see below).  We will be learning the signs for the main nouns in this story and using them in the song version of the book.  Do the hand play with your child.

THANKFUL

If you’re thankful and you know it, clap your hands.(clap hands)

If you’re thankful and you know it, clap your hands. (clap hands)

If you’re thankful and you know it, then your life will surely show it.

If you’re thankful and you know it, clap your hands. (clap hands.)

Additional verses, replace underline part with:

Wave hello (wave)

Say thank you (say and sign thank you)
