This
month’s speech and language lessons will be based on the classic book The
Little Engine that Could retold by Watty Piper. The song will be Ride on a Train
(see below). We will be talking about
the parts of a train, different types of vehicles and categorizing
objects. You can help carryover the
language lessons learned in these activities by having your child tell you
about the story. Also, you can play
categorization games by listing vehicles, toys and foods. “Who can name the most____!?” Happy Holidays to all!!
