Summer Reading Suggestions 2008
I hope you will forgive me, but instead of handpicking the best of the newest books from all these sources, I will leave the choice to you. These links will bring you to the top library reviewing journals, the ones which I use to select books for our libraries, and you can pick and choose whatever looks particularly tempting, or perhaps catch the newest in a series or something just out from your favorite authors/illustrators.
Please look at the archives for other great choices. Often a book chosen a few summers ago has brought the author fame years later -- so go back and see if you’ve missed something, and congratulate yourself if you’ve read many of the books on the list!
It looks like a hot summer is coming so keep cool, keep healthy, and read!
