The Massachusetts Bay Colony was the capital of English involvement in the colonies. This is where it all began. This is where the much needed and desired "English Goods" and links to the homeland all came together. Shipping and trading, correspondance with family from the homeland, landing and living site of English Soldiers and Government Leaders all came to the New World in Boston.

Anne Hutchinson was a woman who was considered courageous by many, a Jezerbelle by some, a Rabble Rouser by most. What would you think if you were living in Boston, following the English way and this woman decided it was not the correct way. She made sense and she was a threat to the Old way of life that was carried over in traditional government policies and practices.
