To help your child feel more comfortable with the transition into 6th grade, I have provided a list of materials he/she will need. Having these materials will help your child to feel prepared. It is helpful for all materials to have your child's initials in case they are misplaced or lost.

Materials with an * will need to be replenished throughout the year.

~ Three separate 1 inch binders

~ Plenty of pencils and erasers *

~ A set of colored pencils*

~ Glue sticks*

~ Three pocket folders

~ A calculator

~ A pen*

~ Crayons*

~ Markers*

~ Scissors

~ White-lined paper*

~ Post-its*

~ Highlighters*

~ Lined index cards

Other materials may be needed depending on the assignment.

Replenishing at the beginning of each new quarter usually works well.
