The last few dances of the spring are May 1 and 15

The Second Annual Ball will be Friday, June 5!

Dancing starts at 7:00PM and goes to 8:30
All Are Welcome! No Experience Needed. All dances taught and prompted. Please wear comfortable shoes.

$5.00 for an individual, $10 for a family

Featured dances will be dances set aside for experienced dancers. There will be a talk-through but very little prompting.

On May 1 the featured dance will be "Mrs. MacLeod"

1-8 - 1s+2s dance RH across and LH back

9-16 - 1s lead down the middle and up to face 1st corners

17-24 - 1s set to 1st corners and turn 2H, set and turn 2nd corners

25-32 - 1s dance reels of 3 on opposite sides, man down, lady up, giving LSh to 1st corners and cross to 2nd place own sides

1-8 - 1s turn RH & cast down to 2nd place, 1s turn LH to face 1st corners

9-16 - 1s dance 1/2 diagonal reel of 4 with 1st corners, 1s dance 1/2 diagonal reel with 2nd corners

17-24 - 1s dance 1/2 diagonal reel with 3rd corner (positions,) 1/2 diagonal reel with 4th corner (positions)

25-32 - 1s dance reel of 3 across (Lady up with 2s, Man down with 3s - LSh to 1st corner)

33-40 - 2s+1s+3s circle 6H round & back (slipping ring)

The first and second lady take near hands, cross, cast around the men, return to place and do a two-hand turn. The men do the same.

1st couple goes down the center and back. Then the 1's and 2s allemande. First couple repeats.
