Commodore Jack Hubbard, the Race Committee and the officers and trustees of the Conanicut Yacht Club want to thank all of the competitors in the Around-the-Island Race - Y2K minus 1. Thanks to you all we had a great race and a great post-race party and we can't wait to see you all in next years' race - now spanning 3 centuries!
The Y2K race for the new Millennium is on Sunday, September 3rd - Y2K or is it MM? For those of you looking for additional shirts, hats, etc. please call Robin at Ocean State Embroidery in East Greenwich, RI at 401-884-3452. We haven't yet identified who was flying the chopper over the West Passage taking pictures of the Fleet - but when we do, we'll publish the firm's name for you. Thanks again for sailing in our race and we'll see you next year!!
